WHAT WE BELIEVE

That school leadership and teamwork makes the difference to the quality of teaching and learning

Understanding of available and appropriate models for school improvement, building sustainable partnerships and improving parental support.

That educators face a complex and ever-changing socio-political situation than ever before

That directed and contextual-based support matter most to address issues of mindset change, leadership and governance, leadership change and transition, coaching and mentoring, and strengthening of psychosocial support.

“Knowledge is not enough to change the conditions of Black people. Understand that we need to create programmes and systems and tools that will empower us economically, spiritually, and mentally. We need courage and action.”

Thomas Sankara

LEADERSHIP AND MASTERY OF

DIVERSITY

Despite many best efforts, a quarter of a century after the end of apartheid, the South African education system remains scarred by its inheritance of segregation, division, inequality, racism, authoritarianism, and institutionalised oppression based on colour, gender, religion, culture, and socio-political and sexual orientation. Racism and discrimination are both personal and systemic. The majority of the disadvantaged students often face difficulties of social and economic nature throughout their schooling and their attention to learning questionable.

The programme addresses the following:

01

The engrained attitudinal and systemic prejudices in South African culture that affects schooling

02

Develop school leadership amongst educators, learners and parents that facilitate new purposeful coexistence and inclusion while affirming diversity of orientation based on the constitution

03

Stimulate positive mindset and build resilience to face the challenges of prejudice and stereotype

04

To uproot and shift prejudiced mindsets within the South African education system in service of liberating future generations to live in a loving, inclusive, interdependent, integrated, and multi-cultural society where self-regard and mutual respect flourish

AND THIS IS

achieved through
