Thuto Trust is supported and sustained by the return on investments made by Thuto Empowerment Pty Ltd through which funds are prudently invested in high-yielding investment vehicles.

Thuto Empowerment Pty Ltd is wholly owned by Thuto Trust, its primary purpose being to generate annuity income for the Trust to be utilised as bursary disbursements, while ensuring the long-term sustainability of the Trust.

The Directors of Thuto Empowerment Pty Ltd manage the Trust funds through ongoing risk mitigation and diversification, establishing meaningful investment in innovative and growing businesses that are committed to economic transformation, the transformative power of empowering young people through education, and investing in the stability and growth of our society as a whole.

Provides world-class psycho-social support services and leadership training to the Thuto Trust Teacher Interns to help them become “the best they can be”, and to be able to recognise psycho-social support issues in the young learners they teach.  TEDA also facilitates excellence in school leadership forums. TEDA ensures that issues of diversity, inclusion, as well as transformation are handled with sensitivity and are supportive of South Africa’s national imperatives.

Is a diverse consortium committed to developing innovative solutions to improve the quality and accessibility of low-cost education in disadvantaged communities in Southern Africa. Thuto Themba will develop best practice Academic Models, Efficient & Cost Saving Education Models, and establish Effective Learning Support.
